BELL CHOIR

SPECTRUM BELL CHOIR: Membership in the handbell choir is for High School age to adults. It is open to experienced bell ringers or those with a basic knowledge of reading music. Rehearsals are held in the downstairs choir room immediately following Sunday worship (they usually don't rehearse on the first Sunday of the month). This choir rehearses a variety of music to augment the Sunday morning worship services throughout the liturgical year. They play about once every two months in worship. New members are always welcome.

The Spectrum Bell Choir is under the direction of Sylvia Coussa.

VOCAL MUSIC

SANCTUARY CHOIR:  This choir provides leadership for our Sunday morning worship service. Membership is open to everyone from high school to adults.  Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9 pm in the Sanctuary Choir Loft. Their primary focus is to prepare worship anthems, ranging from classical to contemporary styles. They also prepare special presentations during the Christmas and Easter seasons.

SUMMER CHOIR: This choir provides leadership in worship during the month of July, when our Sanctuary Choir is on break. They meet once at the end of June for a quick read of all of the summer pieces, but most of their rehearsals take place on Sunday mornings before worship. If you'd like to join them for any (or all!) of their anthems this summer, please be in the choir loft at 9:30 on July 7, 14, 21, and 28! You do not have to be a member of the Sanctuary choir to participate in the summer choir; this is open to everyone!

This choir is under the direction of Michael Short.
