We are located at 161 S. Orange Street in downtown Orange off East Chapman Ave.

Worship Service is at 10:30 am.

The church has 3 parking lots that can be used (owned by the City of Orange) that are adjacent to the church building.  2 of the lots can be found off of Orange Street (between Almond and Chapman), and the 3rd lot can be found off off Grand Street (between Almond and Chapman).  You can also park on Orange Street or Grand Avenue itself for 3 hour increments.

The bus stop is also conveniently located near the church at the Chapman and Grand cross streets next to City Hall, just take the number 54 bus on OCTA.  Please find more information on bus schedules here.

In the front of the courtyard before entering the sanctuary, you’ll see greeters at each door of the sanctuary ready to answer any questions you may have or direct you to Nursery Care, our Sunday School facilities, etc.

When you attend worship, you will be asked to fill out your information with us in the red attendance pads in the pews so that we can know you were with us for the first time.

Our Nursery/Toddler Care Center is committed to providing a safe, nurturing place for infants and toddlers to receive care while their parents attend worship and classes.  Our childcare workers are background screened and CPR certified.

Our nursery room is located on the 1st floor of our Education Building, located adjacent to the children's Sunday School classrooms and the Family Promise Office.

All adults are welcomed to come for Sunday School from 9 am to 10 am in the Fireside Room that is led and facilitated by 5 of our church members: Michael Parra, Wayne Nash, Sylvia Coussa, Julie Wakefield, and Carol Hilton.  This is a great time of study, prayer, fellowship, and lively discussion about Scriptural Passages and Books that are coordinated with the liturgical calendar of the church.  We would love to have you join us!

Children of all ages are welcome to join in our worship services. Sunday School classes are available during our worship hours immediately following the Word for Children in service, and this is for ages 3 thru 6th grade.

First United Methodist Church of Orange celebrates Communion on the first Sunday of a month or a special service. Everyone is welcome at the Lord’s Table. Unfermented wine (grape juice) is used rather than wine out of respect to those in our community that are recovering. Communion is generally done through intinction… dipping your piece of bread into the Cup.

In the courtyard before you step thru the sanctuary doors, you’ll find coffee, orange juice, doughnuts and other goodies. Also in the courtyard, you can sometimes see information tables where you can find out about church activities, sign up for small groups, or help volunteer for upcoming church events.  Our fellowship time currently takes place out on the patio at 10 am.  We move fellowship time into the Fellowship Hall (the large meeting area just inside the courtyard) when we have cold or rainy weather.

Our mission is to make disciples for Jesus Christ
for the transformation of the world.

And we begin the discipleship process with these BIG 5:
