Le Tour de Toddlers

Bike Ride.png

What is it?
Le Tour de Toddlers is a fundraising ride--a 6 day, 500 mile journey from the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco to the First United Methodist Church of Orange, from July 16-21, 2018.

The fundraiser will provide the start-up costs for the Downtown Orange Preschool, which is launching as a ministry of FUMCO in the Fall of 2018.

Proceeds from each of the first five "stages" (days) of the ride will underwrite the cost for an entire classroom! Day 6 proceeds will provide for the play yard.

How can I help?
You can support the cycling team by making a tax-deductible gift of any size.

5¢ per mile = $25
10¢ per mile = $50
25¢ per mile = $125
$1.00 per mile = $500
Sponsoring a whole classroom = $8,300

How can I give?

  • Text FUMCO to 73256
  • Via the 'Online Giving' button on our website (fund: Downtown Orange Preschool)
  • Check (made to FUMCO, memo line 'preschool') and cash (specify preschool) can be mailed to 161 S. Orange St., Orange, CA 92866 or dropped off at the church

Tour de Toddlers Victory Party
As a thank you for supporting the Tour de Toddlers, you are invited to the victory party on Saturday, July 21 from 3pm to 6pm. We'll welcome the riders home at the end of their trek, have an open house of the facilities, and enjoy live music and a free BBQ while supplies last.

Blind Bartimaeus Play

A.S.K. Classes will take a one-week break as we gather to welcome back Nick and Lucy Della Valle. Together, they have visited churches all over the country to share the testimonies of Zacchaeus, the Innkeeper, and Bartimaeus.

We'll gather for dinner at the usual time (5:45 p.m.) for dinner, then witness the story of Blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46-52). Don't miss this opportunity to see and hear this eyewitness account of the last earthly days of Christ. Bartimaeus was a human being like you and I, but his encounter with Jesus not only opened his eyes, but it opened his heart. And he was blessed because of it.

If you've never been to A.S.K. before, this is a great opportunity to come check things out...and first time guests eat free!
