ABOUT MARIPOSA MINISTRY

Mariposa Ministry is the bright and beautiful idea of 10 year old Natalee Martinez who, after watching YouTube videos and hearing that feminine hygiene products are the least donated item for women in need, decided something needed to be done about it. Along with the support of Senior Pastor Bill Johnson, Natalee created this ministry to collect feminine hygiene products to pack in handmade tote bags which she calls "Butterfly Bags" and to distribute to women in need in Orange and the surrounding area. Natalee named this ministry Mariposa, the Spanish word for Butterfly, to represent all of the changes the women go through and the hope she has for changes that can come for their future.

Cash donations are also accepted. All donations collected will be used to purchase the items listed above and the materials needed to create homemade tote bags to hand out items in.
